Just a lungfish that some kooks are trying to sell a story with. Screaming and wrapping around guy s arm. B.S. Desperate locals trying to make a quick buck.

Haha, when this news came out it interruppted a presidential speach. She was speaking about the economy and such, and the news station just cut her off to brodcast the "super fish" as they called it.

Funny little thing that happend. Shows how much people "love" our president.

But i mean it has no eyes, they dont know from where it breaths, and has irregular tusk looking things. Its not that clearly a lung fish.

The color, the vein-like markings on the side of the head, and the headshape should give it away.

No big deal though. Two years ago I would have no idea what I was looking at.

Lungfish... probably looks weird because they probably tried to smash its head to dispatch it.

"Screamed and yelled as they reeled it in."

That made my day.

I don't get it, aren't Lungfish native to South America? That's like me catching an American Eel and selling it to the press as a "mutant fish" :screwy:

It sounds like a bunch of kids beat down a Lung Fish. They probably freaked out when they saw it and started crying and screaming, wrapping themselves up in the fishing line. That was the noise they heard. At least that's what I think. No matter how it actually happened, the fish got worked. They beat the brakes off that thing!

looks healthy
