Hello, I was wondering if any has seen this in a convict? Her parents looked completely normal as did all of her siblings that grew out- about 70 or so. The tail of the other fish is her sister.
So do you think she has some sajica blood in her or she has a mutation in her pattern?
Thanks for any thoughts

dam bro i have no clue on that. thats hella wierd..

Im not sure how hybrids work in the long run. Could it be that 4 generations ago a convict and a sajica or con/sajica breed and there offspiring bred with cons and theres did as well and so on.
I dont know

Im not sure but I really like him.

I breed cons for feeders. My male is a pearl white(pink)con and my females are black cons. I have seen several strange mutations in color between the different batches of fry. I've seen pink bodies with 2 black bars, black and white with pink specks(sometimes orange), and pink with black specks just to name a few.
