Nice Male, I have 4 and 1 is a proven pair, so many fry........The cuban is truly underated. Great Looking Male dude!

Your male looks very similar to my 9" male before but mine was not aggressive with me but very aggressive towards other cichlids except for the female. I had them in a 100 g tank by themselves.

the others (P. guttulatus, V. argentea, C. pearsei, Uaru, etc.) are in community tanks and not as aggro as the ones that i've posted. i'm growing out a Paratilapia sp. small spots "polleni" and a festae and can't wait for them to reach maturity.

Beautiful fish. I hope to own 1 too someday but i can't devote an entire tank to one of those guys right now.
