So a while ago I started messing around with a 10 gallon tank and thought it would be cool to make one of those semi-aquatic terrariums. So I got some gravel, a couple rocks from a nearby stream and set one up. I have a Fluval 1 mini underwater filter laying on its back in the back corner of the tank with a tube attached to it that pumps the water up and down onto some rocks to give it a falling effect. On one of the rocks I put a piece of moss, and also added a small plastic "betta tank" filled with dirt and covered by another piece of moss in the other back corner, right above the water level. Right now I only have guppies in the water but would like to add some sort of amphibian to it, but cant think of one that would co-exist with the guppies, any ideas?

great job!

thats tight

whats in it?

oo ahah just read the whole thing
get a fire belly toad, or a small newt':D

Ha, thanks guys. :)
Newts look like they would fit in pretty good, might start looking around for some good ones.

If you could find a newt that would fit I'd do that, but might not get along with the guppies... Wouldn't do the FBT. That's a cool little project, looks neat.

good job ;)

That’s an amazing job, well done!

Would love to see some more pictures, tempted to do something like this myself!
Maybe some bird's eye view shots and some from different angles would be great!

Very cool.........I would do a small newt or salamander........show us more pics when you get an amphibian either way.........
