My big bluefish that i caught of the surf on my little freshwater pole that i use for catfish and bass. This thing almost ripped my wire leader and fought for 15mins and bent my pole over so much. After i left because we had to go home my friend caught 30 more blues and one was 12.4lbs!

yea but it should be about 17-19" and there should be a limit per person cause people just take them no matter how small :(
ive only caught one nice fluke that was 19" and about 3 1/2 4 lbs and we took that back to my friends beach house and they ate it (everybody always says I'm the only fisherman they know that doesn't eat fish)

yea i must say people poach a ton of fish especially baby stripers at least all the mexicans and other people fishing from shore

personally bluefish are fun to catch ( the bigger they get the worse the eating), my boats on the sounds and when were not fluking, pile fishing for black fish and striper fishing (which is the majority) I think 10 pounds for a blue is pretty average but still big none the less, looks like that guy is real skinny he could of been maybe 12-14 pounds if he was eating :)

usually we nail blues in the 15 lb plus range

stripe bass, flounder and blackfish, blow bluefish out of the water when it comes to eating
we destroy bluefish

ooooooooohhhh, thats good eat'en right therr.
