Well i got lucky. I work at petland in olathe. Went in one day and saw the tail of this guy sticking out from a rock. He was a good 9" when i bought him about 2 to 3 years ago.

wow...grew 3 inches in 2-3 years.?

Yeah pretty sure. He was laying against the side of the tank this morning and the tank is 24" front to back and he was to the dead center of that. Half of 24" is 12". You may be puzzled by the growth, but when you power feed 3 to 4 times a day of shrimp, earth worms, mussels and blood worms as dessert fish usually have a tendency to grow. Had a flag tail go from 4" and within the year when I got rid of him he was pushing 13" and extremely thick, what else a ripsaw cat bought in sept of 07 at 5" and now is pushing a good 14" I can go on and on about the growth rate of the fish I have stock in the past years. But i dont want to bore you with that.

Yeah I do need to work on my glass cleaning skills. No professional yet, but I am working on it. But when certain fish are out you gotta take what you gotta take
