my tank is 55gallons 4x1x1.5
poor tail... he stopped biting it as for now.
will it grow back to normal?
do i have to do anything?

your arowana has whats known as tail biting syndrome

the problem is that his tank is too small, and needs a bigger one

And be sure when you do use Melafix, to remove any carbon you might have in the filter...then replace after you are done with the regimine...

yeah get a larger tank... minimum of 180 gallon, at least for a while...

beautiful silver he has lots of color. i really like how you set that tank up looks really nice. that tank looks bigger than a 55 gallon. if you have a tight budget try www.glasscages.com they have cheap prices but shippin is usually like $200. goodluck finding a cage. and dont forget to check ebay

yah im sure the tinfoil barbs wont dare bite nor get even close to the aro. hihi
he stopped it now. didnt do anything, bought melafix but didnt use it... tOo many suggestions to take in mind, mind got cloudy hehe... so i just observed it, off the lights a little longer. tail is healing now. will post pics of it as soon as its completely healed.
