My 125 Cichlid tank

How does the Jewel get along with the Africans? I know they are about the same size when fully grown, but are from different continents...

In my tank there is no clear Alpha fish. No one messes with my big front, but he's not aggressive at all and everyone just moves out of his way when he comes near. Second to him I'd have to say my Jewel is my most dominate, he/she will fight off any fish in my take except the front, even my Peacocks twice it's size.

Finally got a good pic of my Front today, he's usually so shy in front of the camera, but for some reason today he was really showing off for me :D
 
beautiful fish you have there! i like it with more rock in it also-now all youre missing is a black background! it looks good...

Thanks! I love him! Favorite fish by far! Funny you should say that about the background. I have a peice of acrylic cut to fit over the glass on the back, I'm going to paint it black and silicon it to the lip of the tank frame, both top and bottom to prevent water getting between it and the glass, I'm also picking up 100-150lbs of black gravel tonight. And when I do my next major w/c I'm going to change the gravel too. Although I just did a complete cleaning of the tank so that probably won't happen for another couple of weeks. I do weekly 25% w/c's and once a month I remove all the tank decorations and completely vacum the gravel and do a 50-60% w/c.
 
Is the Polleni still in there?
