My 125gal African setup

Looks great Patrick.. I love a full setup in a African tank.
 
lol the question of rock weight also crossed my mind too lol.. hope you have eggcrate under all that! lol
 
bamboo can work in a tank setup though. seen it done before. and people keep them as aquatic plants for bamboo shrimp as well.

my bamboo plant is a a vase of glass beads, and water, kept like an aquatic for quite some time.

although bamboo isn't quite native for the africans lol =P
 
I wouldnt worry about the rock weight, I have been stacking rocks that high for over ten years and never had a problem, nice work!

i really do love that rock in there! i wish i had thought of that instead of river boulder...looks great.
 
Looks good. If the Bamboo has been in there for a year....let it ride if you like it.

Thanks Mel. I was going to do the straight river boulder thing too.But then I saw these! I knew it would give me a different better look.
 
Is your intake behind all the rock?

I will be doing something like this, and I was wondering where to put the intake and return lines
