Thought it would never happen..I had it for over two years..Put my hand in the tank, to put a powerhead in the proper place and the Dorado came up and bit my middle finger. Surprised to see a lot of blood from my finger. I am putting pressue on my finger to stop the bleeding..In the defense of it, maybe it thought I was food since it tends to rush for food that way.

Dorados hit their food like a truck, The last one that i sold Bit the **** out of the net even out of the water. Was it a clean poke or a nasty tear on your finger?

It was a clean bite. The bite was like a half circle where its teeth are formed. My fault thou because the fish knows when I am there in the morning, food gets thrown in the tank.

Hope the Dorado's jaw is okay.

Im sure it's fine, mine threw himself across the room and hit the wall flat and was ok. It was a good 6-7 feet in the air and 5ft across
