  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks !

which is approx. 51" x 28" x 28" = 170 gallon + or - a couple of gallons

Looks as if ya got the start of a real nice set up, Are you starting off with so small ones or ya going big right off the bat?

Don't know if I understood all (I'm french) but I'll put 5 adults if I can find some or 5 smalls it will depend... And I'd like to do a mix but I think that it's not long enaugh to put caribas or pirayas for exemple...And anyway, it's not easy to find some in france !
Does it answer to our question ?

Ya that answers the question, With the aquascaping 5 adults will be perfect for that tank.

It's beautiful to see that our hobby can unite citizens of France and the US in the common goal of MFKing.

Your tank looks awsome, I like the way you did your back ground. How did you make the 3D background? What materials did you use?

une personne francais ici tres bon!

anywho....giving the the 20g per fish rule you can have about 8 fish in there if you'd like. going for a shoal of like caribe or piraya you might have to thin a tad due to they're aggression, caribe are very territorial fish, i can tell you this 1st hand

I dont think I would keep 8 RBP in a tank that is just over 4 foot long. The 20g per fish is a guideline and would work well with a 6 foot long aquarium. When they grow to adult and are 8-10" they would be cramped in that tank.

Good choice of planning to keep 5 RBP's in your tank.

Thanks everybody !

Yeah I definitely think that my tank is not long enough to put more than 5 red bellies, or 3 or 4 savage ones... But anyway I'll begin with red bellies !

I've just change my 100L :
