I think Brackish tanks are the coolest
Can I get an amen!!

I haven't said anything because I didn't want to jinx it, but this tank was just featured in a three page write up in a British aquarium mag called Tropical Fish. The title of the article by Neale Monks is "Born in the USA". I'm pretty psyched. My wife is going to have it framed nicely to go over the aquarium!

I practiced drilling with a rotozip tile bit on some glass today. I had bought both the chuck and multimandrel pack for my dremel, but still could not accomodate the larger diameter of the bit. So I chucked it into my drill instead and tried it on a vertical pane of glass. I used a ziplock full of water with a length of IV tubing and a valve to slowly stream water over it, and it cut slowly, but easy. Can't wait to get after the rear wall of my tank.

nice tank! looks great!

I'm in the middle of the upgrade, ups and downs.

Here is my drip setup for drilling the back wall, tank empty, using an IV tube c valve, stuck into a ziplock and duct taped.

I used a rotozip tile bit in an old drill. I found the cutting smooter with a 10# weight hanging from it.

the water ran into a dry cleaning back nested into a second one, into a bucket.

I made one new hole and enlarged the other
