Yea man, but if they are in tnaks, once they get bigger they usually knock their fron teeth out on the glass. Tey keep the rest though.

That jack is BADA$$ man! I would be afraid he was going to get so excited he jumped out of the tank. What a powerful fish. Im not that familiar with jacks. How big will this guy get?

They max out at around 90cm or 35 inches.
Will take them 10+ years to get him that big. They grow quick to start than slow down quite a bit.

what size do they start to slow down? or do they just tend to slow down cause they startto get to big for the aquariums people keep them in. im gonna build a big tank for my jack when he gets up round the 40 odd cm mark im thinkin

Around 30-40cm they tend to slow down a bit. But like I said every Jacks different, depends on water quality, water changes and feeding.
Thats a good idea man, don't give up, i;ve upgraded to a 10.7x3x2, time and patience is your friend man.
