well it is now full... the stand looks good no creeks, or pops. just waiting for the sand to settle. Im told this could take a while.
here are some pictures of my sump. and the spray bar. let me know if it looks up to snuff.

sweet! i am doind a simular progect exept on my 100 gallon long! i have the same DIY sump(well almost the same)
the tank is now clear and settled. I am starting to work on the canopy now will be posting pictures when there is something new to see. the tank cleared really fast, about 6 hours, and three filter pad changes. makes me think the filter i built is actually going to work.

i have added some feeders to help with the cycling time.
