I love bowfin. Unfortunately they're native here, so I can't have. I think you should've just titled the thread 180 show tank, cause you've got sa, ca, na, and africa in there :D Looks good either way.

you should be alowed. there native here to. i can go catch one right out of the lake. when i talked with the fish commission they said you can keep any native fish as long as it meets measurement requirements and as long as hes in your tank he counts toward your daily limit.
 
I will definately have to check into that! It was explained to me (a long time ago) that anything native was not allowed to be kept. So either it's just Missouri, or I was told incorrectly. Now you have me thinking I might get one again.....I hate you.....:D

that jewell is coming out and the bowfin is fine with everyone. when i first introduced the big jag they flared at each other alot for a day and then stopped. they respect each other and are good now.
