ya were still up in the air about the barbs. We had 4 tinfoils and 1 golden, but the golden died the first night and three of the tinfoils were killed by the Jag (he bit there face off) We may get a couple more so he's not lonely. Thanks guys. In my opinion no the overflow is not loud. Makes noise that can be heard but not loud. My upstairs neighbors are loud. Since the last update I put a male convict and guess what happened? ya . Babys. going to have to do something about that . The male convict was a bad idea. lol. Oh and we replaced two of the barbs that the Jag took out. New pics tomorrow-ish.
Crazy after i wrote that the male con was just dead. He had been fine , tending to the fry , defending them from barbs plecos and o's so i guess maybe just stressed to death?
its the quiet one 4000, with a 1" return . Its slowed down now that its broke in. Once i get my job stable again ill be upgrading to a bigger pump and line OR adding another one. Cant have too much turnover!!
