My 180g build

I notice the tube of "personal lubricant". I have a pretty good idea what you two were using it for...

Pretty darn impressive! Much has been done since the last time at your place. Tank was bare (dirty) and the sump (dirty dirty... lol). The pics for both appears real clean, i.e. sum crimsonfrog elbow grease. Great job!

I came across some metal gussets for your stand. Let me know if you want them for each corner as additional reinforcement. Come pick them up.

Thanks Sam. No rush on those braces. I'll hookup with you sometime.

looking great so far

Thanks sir!

Close up of the sand? Nice build. Clean setup!

I will get some pictures soon! My camera starting acting up the other night and I havent got around to fixing it yet.

Sorry for the delays, here are some pictures using the cell phone since I am still upset with my complicated camera. LOL

So my EcoPlus 1267 pumps aren't pressure regulated. Found out the hard way. Until I can afford some really good pumps, we bypassed the OCD soft-plumbing freeways, and went straight hose to the right return. HUGE difference. Apparently these pumps lose a foot per elbow. Lesson learned. Will get some Danner Mag drives soon and will set up back to OCD.

Going to replace the bio balls and ceramic rings (moving to my other setup). Got a 5.3 gallon bucket of Pond Matrix coming soon and will play the cycle media dance until its full of Pond Matrix.

I know the sump is a bit dirty, but I've had fish in the right chamber of the sump since this tank has been running.

Got some nice Manzanita pieces to fill the corner nicely. The fish love to hang out here. Also got a nice piece of mopani wood to lean up against the repaired section. It's funny how much I stressed about how I was going to cost-efficiently (even started a thread about it) way of covering the eye sore. I found it hilarious that simply leaning a piece of wood would do the trick wonderfully.

Going to replace these rocks with some larger tan colored ones for some contrast. (Hi Jeff!) LOL

I love how everything has turned out so far. Looking to find some more nice single pieces (like the one laying on the right side) to add to the ground level. For now, my cigarettes (and beers) in the garage have been much more enjoyable as of late.

Thanks Forrest! Absolutely love the sand. The natural look is unparalleled. Thanks again for the suggestion!

BTW, I really want your F0 Umbee's, but gotta make some space. Having a hard time with that LOL, I'm sure you know how that goes.
