I finally got a 190 gallon tank!

I have decided on the look, but not the fish, this is where I could use some help.

So here is the set up:

190 gallon
Sand substrate
Driftwood
Round river rocks near the driftwood
Lots of Anubias and java fern
4x30w t8 life glo
Fluval fx6 with Eheim substrat pro and seachem purigen.

And I will be adding a Eheim 600 classic with 11w uv light from Eheim.

Based on this what would you keep in this tank?ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1400349980.887933.jpg

The plants are the following:
30 Anubias nana
20 Anubias congensis
20 java fern "narrow"
5 java fern "narrow" XL and tall

Great start with that setup
As for the fish depends on what you like I suppose big preds or community setups :D a group of geophagus would look stunning in your tank or even discus , maybe a big pair of cichlids (dovii / jag etc )
Or big beasts of some sort ;) its all personal preference on your part , whatever you choose keep the thread posted I'd love to see what you decide on

I am thinking of geophargus and Nicaragua cichlids, and perhaps some pretty plant compatible plecos.

I am also thinking of parachanna obscura, as I used own them along time ago, very beautiful, but only active during feeding time.

Discus I am not interested in....

I love angel fish, but been there and done that too many times.

But I really enjoy hearing what some of you would have and then steal the idea;)

Doviis and jags.... Plant friendly?

Edit:

Never mind those fish should have bigger tank then I have.

Also, I am going to add some floating plants and perhaps some vallisneria.

Thanks!

It is actually composed of 8 different pieces. I got really lucky, I just ordered 15 of them from a provider blind. So I only used the ones that went the best together.

I do have some leftovers, one of them really looks good, but doesn't fit in the overall look.

So I'll just save it for my future... I'm definitively going to get a fish room when I get a house of my own, now I'm just renting while working/preparing for my university degree.

Here is a picture of my nano tank with 3 crabs, 4 shrimps and a dwarf puffer.
I also have a bristle nose pleco, but that poop factory is soon to be removed.

I like certain tetras, but from my experience barbs shoal a lot better.

Any thoughts on plant friendly plecos? Having a hard time finding some that have nice coloration that's suitable. I absolutely love the l-200 green phantom and the l-136 (I think...), the one that looks like a l-200 but is blue. Unfortunately they seem to be fond of plants.

Thanks alot for the link, i'm halfway reading it now, and it allready provided my with alot of information that's helpful!

I love the Queen Arabesque, and it says that the L-200 is mostly carnivirous...
I really need to learn more of this species before hand, i just find them really beautiful.

Golden Nugget is perhaps another option, but i don't find them really that stunning..

I will countinue to read and i'll post here if i find out more of the L-200 or anyother pleco that's 'beautiful enough' that goes well with plants.

Again, great link!
