My parameters for this tank the aro is in:
PH: 7.4
Ammonia: 0
Nitrites: 0
Nitrates: 20 ppm

Tank has been established/cycled for 1 month already and has a senegal in it also. Will move the Aro into the 55 gal as soon as it gets cycled. What do you guys think? Any advice for a 1st time Aro owner. Im very happy that i brought him back with me.

For arowana, it is better to keep the pH between 6 to 7.

Moreover, ammonia is more toxic for pH above 7.

I just picked up a 125 the other day for 75 bucks. Has no trim but goals are to build a stand and locate a trim for it. It is a Perfecto 72x18. If anyone knows and info. Ive searched already and well im going to call Perfecto tommorow, then will canvas LFS. But This will be the Aro's HOme after the build.

You be better off converting that 125 into a sump. Considering that the silver will haave out grown the 125g with about 9 months from now.

If i were rich, Yes i would and buy a bigger tank than that. As of now Military doesnt pay much. Hobbyist at a budget. As of now it will do until i move back to California and plans of a much larger tank. Thanks for the input.

Oh and i do understand the Arowanas growth rate, by any means am I trying to stunt its growth. Ive done my research.
