these are kinda rare to find in my area. The Bigger one ( 9-10" ) came from a freind of mine who works at a fish store and the smaller patternless one (5-6") came from a radom fish store that i just stopped in!

I hae them in with 3 Tin Foil Bars and 2 Red Scats at the moment and will be adding 4 NTT's next week when they come in!

Can somebody explain why they really like the patternless delhezi? I don't get it, I think the stripes on the wild seperates them from the pack, and makes me prefer them over many of the other Polypterus sp. I like the little tigers. I mean they are nice fish don't get me wrong, but the tiger stripes are real neat.
Also, as stated it is a good idea to stop feeding the goldfish and feed pellets, it minimizes the chances of things going wrong with their health. I feed chopped shrimp, fish, and pellets to all of my bichirs.

I'm with you on this Rockbass. While patternless dels are still nice looking, the stripes are what makes me like them so much. I wouldn't personally buy a patternless one. I'd go for a sen instead.

I like em both, personally i would get a patternless del only if it was like half price of a striped one though

I DO QUARANTINE THE GOLDFISH BEFORE FEEDING THEM. THE PREVIOUS OWNER SAID THE BIG ONE HAS EATING SHRIMP AND FROZEN KRILL, BUT HAS YET TO TAKE ANY FROM ME SO I THOUGHT ID INTICE WITH GOLDFISH. CONSIDERING NEITHER OF THEM HAVE EATEN WITHIN THE LAST 3-4 DAYS. AND THE GOLDFISH HAVE BEEN IN THERE 3-4 DAYS AND THEY ARE STILL THERE......
