Should have said that before. The pleco is very likely responsible for your eggs disappearing overnight. They're notorious egg lovers. In fact, people often introduce plecos to a tank to control the amount of fry a pair produces.

The parents will keep him at bay during the day, but at night when they can't see he will sneak in and eat the eggs.

Take him out and you should see the eggs hatch in no time.

Wow I see thanks alot, and they are the only ones living in this tank and also one small pleco thats it.

well then it the pleco who is eating the eggs... not the mom...

actually gt's are some of the worst parents you can ask many people on here... they dont protect the fry when they hatch they just let them go free...

I don't doubt some are bad parents but I wouldn't say all are bad parents since my pair is guarding the babies quite well. The mother keeps them close to her at all times and the father has a perimeter he keeps around the mother and babies as well as attacking the glass when people come close.

Green Terrors are not bad parents. Most if not all cichlids are famous for being good parents, there's no reason for GTs not to be. Of course there will occasionally be exceptions but most of them will care for their fry under the right conditions.

If there's too many disturbances (overstocking, too many people walking near the tank, bad water quality, cleaning and re-arranging the tank too much while they're nursing) or stress and they feel it's not "worth it", they might abandon their fry or even eat them, but this is not the norm. If the tank is big enough some might even breed again without killing their previous batch of fry.

Same here my Gts do that as well, everytime i go close to the tank they both like spread their grills and glare at me lol. and i noticed if the pleco goes close to them to suck on the glass, the female like chases him away.

This isnt the first time that they have breeded, its like the 5th or 6th, but maybe its the water quality, I mean i change the water everytime they have eggs, like every 4 days.

But in your case they probably got eaten by a pleco lol. You can't really know if they're good parents until you remove the pleco and let them breed again, my bet is you will have healthy fry all over your tank in no time.

I was referring to the guy that said GTs don't care for their fry and let them roam free around the tank as soon as they're born.

I agree it's almost definatly the pleco doing it at night. If you want once the eggs hatch take out half of them and raise them yourself in another tank with a sponge filter, leave the other half in the tank with the parents.
