5 and 6 inches is right about where they start showing male female traits, vertical bars don't disappear yet at this point in alot of males. So bascially, they are to small to be 100 percent, but judging by characteristics only, based on shape, jaw line, darkness of markings, I would say that 90%, they are females......8 inches, you will know for sure.
The odd thing, after looking again is the 1st ones markings are looking to be a males.......kinda....except for the light spots on the jaw but the fins and body have a male look to them.
Im reserving my vote until they get slightly larger, im 50/50 on M/F or F/F
