I just got these.. They are in a q tank for fot tonite.. Sorry for the really bad pics, tank is really old.. Will get some better pics up tom.. Can anyone give me an id on these guys if possible..

Ill get the pics up tom.. I have to make place in the grow out tank for them... There r already about 18 snakeheads in the growout tank.. Any ideay how i can get these guys to about 8" fast..?

to grow them fastest, i would put the gars in a 10g (minimum) or preferable 20 gallon long tank, on their own.
bump the temperature up to 82F and do 50% water changes at least once a week, preferably every few days.
if they are taking non-live food, great, if not, get feeders that are safe (and definitely not goldfish)...keep their tank stocked with fishes so they can eat constantly. when they get to 8"+ you can get them onto non-live foods.
following this gets gars to a bigger size quite fast, depending on their current size, this can be accomplished within a month or less (most likely less). good luck!--

They r about 3-4", I got them for 10$.. Do gars mix well ? I mean with other gars.. i have another gar about 14" very aggressive.. A glass banger.. nearly killed my 7" bichir.. Any reason for this sudden aggressiveness... Im worried if they would get along..
