the first pic is 8-9in and the second is 10-11. the bigger one seems to have a hump on his head at times and is the dominant one. they were just bought from a lfs store so good chance they're hybrids

Why do u say that? just curious. Im not saying ur wrong or anything b/c every1 is pretty much just guessing....well....an educated one

Body coloration, shape of the fish, the slight silver spangling on the rear third bars, and on the body. The coloration, the tail coloration, and a few other slight traits.

Believe me, these fish are definitely hybrids. The head shape and body shape are what is a dead give away.

Oh, and the lateral line is connected like on an ocell and not separated like it would be if it were a monoculus.
