My 2 silver arowanas

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Could be that they are M and F but no way to really tell. I have two silvers that have lived peacefully together for near 6 years. The first couple of years they were just a pair, then I moved them to a new tank and added a black aro. No issues, with the three I then added another black and the four have been fine for about 3 years. I even had a 5th in the tank for a couple weeks while I was finding him a new home.

You won't know if a third will work or not unless you try it. Just make sure if you do decide to attempt, that you have a separate tank to move one of the arowana to if things do go bad. If you do decide on a trio, I would recommend having at least a 450g 96x36x30" tank. This is what I have mine in and although I believe it is a bit cramped for my four 30" aros, I think it would be comfortable for just three.

To be real I wouldn't add 5in with 18in , when I try add my other it was like 12in and the big one was like 18in r so, the big guy was real ruff and mean with small one, by your being 5in he might eat it

Here in about 6 months when both of yours get to be around 24" it's gonna be quite rough in that 180g. You will have to keep the tank bare of decore and do your best not to spook them. Mine are all in the 29-31" range.

Lol how u know he can't Bderick

Just do a little research on the matter, you can then develop your own opinion on whether he can or can't.
