My 200-gallon African Cichlids Tank

Thanks Zebvance! That blue eyebiter without the black stripe is the dominant male and is currently spawning with one of the females like almost every month. I'm too lazy to take the babies out though so they end up becoming feeders, but I'm sure some are hiding behind the rocks...

Haha nice. Do they develop the blue when they fully mature? or are they blue with to begin with. Im just trying to fig out if mine is a female or not.

They were all silver with the black stripe when I first got them around 3 inches... they are probably around 7 inches now... i know 3 out of 6 are males but only the dominant one is blue... how many do you have in your tank and how big are they? mine started showing the blue shade around 5 inches...

yes you should... and they have a personality to boot... he's the king of the tank and only the Frontosa and the largest Venustus stand up to him...
