I sold my collection because of life changes, but now I'm getting back into the hobby with american cichlids, GT's and Blue jack dempseys.

Your fish are very beautiful! you did a great job with the decor and background too. I wouldn't add anything big. Like already mentioned, that empty tank will be full of big cichlids soon. If anything you could add some Giant Danios or Spotted Silver Dollars.
 
how about a festae or red severum? but i wouldnt add any more than that as people have said before, your tank will soon be full!

General body shape, and shorter, more rounded dorsal and anal fins.

However, it could still possibly end up being be a smaller sub-dominant male. Although if I was a betting man, my money would be on female.
