My 210g project tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks for the compliments and the pumps! I'm glad I went with the ReeFlo's vs the submersed pumps I was planning on. They are super quiet and move a lot of water.

WOW fantastic and clean install, can't wait to see final project.

Thanks! I hope to start "decorating" this weekend. I have purchased PFS and some rocks, hopefully all goes well. I will post more pics when I have some progress to show.

Yeah, I'm really happy with my upgrade. Lucky for you the Snappers were too small for my system.

COME ON MAN!!!! YOU are killing me!

I wish I had more time to work on it:irked: I will have a few pics of the sump to post soon. My wife used my rocks for a border around her garden:eek: so I will have to pick up a few more before I can play with the aquascaping.

I have all of the glass siliconed in place in the sump. I made a cool little wand to clean my sand with, hooks to a garden hose and has four holes for water to come out of, pic below. I'm going to work on getting sand in the tank today.

How my sump will work; water will enter from the left, the glass strips will hold 2 3" thick pieces of Poret foam. The water will flow through the foam for mechanical and some bio filtration. Then over the third piece of glass into a trickle area for bio flitration. I'm going to use Seachem Matrix or Pond Matrix and more Poret in this area. The second pic shows the far side of the bio filtration area being installed.
