Nice fish and I wish you, and the fish the best of luck. I do not agree with your idealogy on fish being expendable but it is your decision and your money ultimately. Those Buttikoferi are no punk and they are known to go on killing sprees. I would love to see this tank work out. SRT's look good too.

Don't be so quick to jump the gun and start pointing fingers. Many of us have had similar setups to a certain extent and they have worked.
His tank is a 220gal, did anyone think to take that into consideration? Obviously he has some respect for his fish otherwise they would be in a much smaller tank.
How bout next time trying to be helpful and encourage great fishkeeping instead of being malicious and hateful because someone doesn't keep fish the way you think they should. We get new members EVERY day, and some of them don't know any better. You take up that attitude with them from the start it will turn them away from the site. Actually if you take up that attitude with them period. We are here to help, not criticize and slander each other.

Although some try harder than others to help out (I am not always that person), and the person that needs the help has an attitude and is not receptive, too bad for the person that doesn't want help. It's when people say things like I don't care, I have money, it just goes to show their level of maturity in regards to the well being of the animals. They still are animals, just like we are.

100% go noobs - I have been there in other arenas, and still am in many respects regarding specific fish species and related husbandry - but I will always help someone who has no clue and is RECEPTIVE.
