And, I have 3 salvinis but they are far too small for my tank. I like the idea of smaller cichlids I like, but, I also would like 1 more larger cichlid. Just one. I wish I could find a mellow jaguar but who knows if that would work.

Yeah that's my thinking too I've just always wanted a jag and I know a guy that has a 7" he said he'd sell me. I could maybe grow out
My Salvinis and put in there and I was planning to get 2-3 more Balas for dithers so idk I want so much but I can't do everything! Lol any ideas on some bottom feeders? I've found a few 5" Clown loaches thought that may work

I got an idea for you, how about a flagtail prochilodus. I know a its not a cichlid but it gets large, is very pretty and active, eats algae, and will work well with your stock.

I have thought about a flag tail I just didn't know where to get one. I've never seen one in my area in the 15 years I've lived here

If I were going to add salvinis how big should they be considering my 2 female festae are ready 5-7" and the black belt is about the same size

Thanks a lot! A buddy of mine had that stick and he had some fake plants on a vine so we just wrapped it around it. I'd really like to go out and find a nice stump..
