My 2500 gallon concrete mega tank project

The filter is right it`s place. There are missing heater, UV-unit, aeration and filter media

Year 2011 I started to build aquarium from reinforcement waterproof concrete. Dimensions are 600x170 cm and there is 100 cm water level. Tank volume is 9600 litres (2500 gallons). Front glass panel has 3,8 cm thickness with weight 580 kilos.

OUTSTANDING BUILD....

Curious to know, what kind of mix you are using? Are you letting the concrete cure 30 days? I can only imagine the fear of cracking.

It is water resistant concrete. It was made a year ago.

Today I plug UV-clarifier and 2 kW flow heater in to filter. Tomorrow we plan to assembly background.

Size is hard to tell till you see the water spout on the left side. That's large
