The glass is installed and the tank is full of water. What's the point of this comment? Do you think if non tempered glass breaks it will break slower and not leak as much? This is 2500 gallons, if the glass breaks the water comes out with or with out tempering.

Also most 125 gallon and below sized tanks come with tempered glass. So most people use tempered glass....

Tempered glass is the route to go imo.. Atleast all big builds here in Norway use that, its way stronger then not tempered. Its fragile for edgedamage, but thats it. I agree with Egon!
