My 28" Niger Growth Progression.

Awesome!!!
I have a Niger and man are they the perfect cat. They grow big, leave other tank mates alone and are an awesome clean up crew.
Unfortunately I will end up having to get rid of mine because when I researched them I read that they very rarely get over 28" and my tank is only 32" wide but I will be enjoying him as long as I can.
With your progression pic I now have an idea of how long I will be able to enjoy him.

Yeah they are awesome and also used as a tool to get the wife unit to agree on a even bigger tank
Crossing fingers she doesn't read this. Mine is supper mellow and really doesn't move around much but I would feel a lot better getting him/her into a larger tank. So that's the plan Nice updates. They are definitely a nice cat to keep

The tank is 3 feet front to back, so another month or so before there will be issues with turning
My other fish are in other threads, you should be able to find something interesting unless you like cichlids.....
Yeah the Bala's are a foot now. One is 5 years old and one is 4 years old.
