My 2g planted

This is my planted 2g betta tank with a Betta splendens. At the moment it only has amazon swords but i plant to get some other stuff in there. I started with live plants on this thing about 1 month ago but only got serious about the plants today. This whole setup has run me about 50$.

Today i just removed the fake plants and decor because it looked too fake, now it's just gravel and plants, and fish.

By the by people, please ignore the pleco, he was sucking on my delhezi so i am searching for a new home in the meantime.

If it was me I would look around and find a nice tall somewhat thin rock to stand up in the middle. And maybe paint the back black.

The plants are growing really fast under 7.5wpg. you will be astonished when you see the growth this saturday

I would get some small pieces of driftwood and anchor anubias nana petite and needleleaf java fern. Those swords will get way to big for your tank. You could get a couple small pieces of wood and make a pretty dynamic composition also utilizing some moss. The betta will enjoy the accomodations. Mine always liked to lounge on the taller plants. Consider a dark tank background as well.
