Very cool. You should try and get a couple shots of the two blacks together so we can see if there are any visible differences.

Michael, the only visable differences are the size.

Slime coat is good to go.

The first black gar I will update pictures of tonight so Michael can see the difference of the two fish. This one sold for $1,100.00

This gives me the motivation to go out searching for them. I travel the whole state and collect hundreds of gars but only a few color morphs.

Im still hoping for golden gar # 2 this season.

I've read several sources that claim there is a specific lake where the golden morph's are more common... have you ever had a chance to collect there? Is it an urblan legend? Lake Kissimmee I believe.

I remember when you started out here, and people were wary of scams due to the FX5 incident still being fresh.And they doubted you, as you were selling something of relative value...think it might have been bay snooks.
