I thought about maybe giving him to my local bass pro shop. But if I can find an affordable solution I will.

My RTC went from 4" to 14" in 4 mths ... it was amazing to watch , i could see the differences in growth weekly .. Out grew my TSN 2 to 1 ..

market shrimp , night crawlers mostly ... he was housed with Tsn/texas/tiger oscar .. I recently gave all away ... the cats went to someone with a 650gal (glad they got an experienced monster keeper!)

I had a 700gal DIY planned .. but ran into some health problems .(back now!)..

If you plan to keep him ... go BIG , and go Fast .

Im not real good with abbreviations man. Tsn, DIY... I really dont know how long im going to keep him. If I can find an affordable big tank ill gladly do it. I have been feeding him Blood Worms and small feeders. Did you feed him once or twice a day?

TSN - Tiger Shovelnose Catfish

DIY - Do It Yourself

I feed him twice daily until he reached 12" then cut back to twice every other day . good luck !

I have been feeding feeder golds and blood worms because I heard its good for RTC color. Odd thing though is that my Gar wont eat anything but the feeders. Sucks
