Pike and muskies like clean, fairly still waters, with lots of plants, they love reed beds and water lilies.

It is those 'walking' catfish that we have in Asia here...my NP just refuse to eat those now and feeding on guppies instead..

here is some pics of northen pikes here in Sweden, they get huge and they eat BIG fishes
i have kept a 2 feet northen pike wich i caught in a lake near Stockholm in Sweden in a 8ft tank they are fun to cuz they sneak up on their pray :)
i kept my temperature around 20C and it worked fine for me.

I think the current world record is 50+lbs for pike, bigger for muskies.
