She really wont look that much 'smaller', she is going from a 210g to the 300g. Just a little more swimming room for all the fish.

lol, But they all fit in there... in fact there is still some unused water volume.

Porchop the pearsei is 14", the regani is 12", the snook is around 10" and the het about 6-3/4". There is still a bit of growth left in the snook and het so I just want some more room to make things smoother. The pearsei is in charge so overall the tank is super mellow and calm but on occasion she goes off on the regani. My hope is with more space she will leave the guy alone more. Of the bichir I only worry about the weeksii and teugesli getting 'big' the others are all smaller upper jaw types so no worries.

I hate overstocking and like to have the space to add some large décor pieces. With this tank I have a couple sizable Mopani pieces Im going to add. Yeah I know, less talk more pics. lol

Thanks, Im very happy with it. I cant wait either, lol. Went through a huge house remodel, planning on this as the focus in the living room.

A bit more progress, my heater cords were a bit short so I need to add some extension cords. Did a bit of wiring inside the cabinet. I like the inside of the cabinet to look neat and organized.

Making sure to have drip loops and to have things secure and out of the way.
