Mr. David,
I have insight that you live in Orange County and you should be aware of the species you keep endangered and illegal species in the state of California. There are investigation going on to charge people the maximum sentences for keeping these species with fines up to $100,000 and prison sentence.
--Asian Arowana are classified as “endangered” under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).
--Stingrays are illegal under the California Code of Regulations, title 14, section 671. These regulations are promulgated by the California Fish and Game Commission pursuant to statutory authority set forth in the California Fish and Game Code.
Be warned.
