My 315G Plywood Tank Build

Knock on wood I have never had a blow out, I did overflow my 75 the first time I filled it. :wall: The ply build is my first foray into the "large" tank world, and hope I do not have any problems. Her patience with my hobbies is one of many reasons I married her, and hopfully this will not test that patience.

I hope to marry a woman who wants to take care of my planted tanks and is not afraid to clean my reefs while being okay with 100-1000 gallon tanks all over the house.

that is so true. while we build this tank. we are thinking if this goes well. in a few years im gonna build a tank 3 times as large.

Also, do you have pictures of plumping? I was wondering how you were gonna plumb it through the stand, if you plumb it in the wall

I was going to keep the plumbing in the walls but the 1.5" elbows and such where just too big. I have everything going out the back wall of the tank right now and my guess is that's where it's going to stay. I dont have any picks of that but I will get some when I pull the tank away from the wall for the test fill.
 
i cant see clearly, is your tank framed with 2x4 or 2x6?
