Very cool tank. Im so jealous of people who live in warm states. So many options would open up if I could keep a tank in my garage. I love the idea of an outdoor pond viewable from the basement. Very awesome idea.

haha yeah it can be nice. My tank is in a screen room and stays at 80-83 degrees without a heater.

Wow so my arowana is gone. Everyone was worried that my RTC was gonna eat him. But that wasnt the case. The Pacu had got to him. I just dont understand these guys. Their like a pack of wolves. They steal food out of the RTCS mouth!!!

I should post some drawings of diging out a existing swimming pool and extending a house's living room or basement out to it and turning the swimming pool in to a fish tank. It would also give the swimming pool a use for 95% of the time their are no people in it.

looking good man. i like the unique look with the slate background and the floating plants.

hey thanks. Ive been adding more plants latelys so it looks a bit different now, but im really likeing it. The background though isnt slate. Its the Pond Coat that was used to seal the inside. It only stayed solid black for a day before it turned that brown grey.

May I have a list of the floating plants you use? I like them a lot!!

Water Hyacinth and water lettuce. Thats just stuff that grows like wild fire down here. i Only had 5 plants in my pond outside over the winter and now u cant see the water its just one big floatin plant mass haha.

Cant wait till the Hyacinths start to bloom though. they get a nice purple flower.
