Hi Luca,

I suggest to use some floating plants to give more cover, and make the tank a bit darker. The channa will love it.
And you could add some mor caves or roots, that one floating in the middle ofg the tank is very good for aquaria, I use these type very often, and it looks great.

In half a year I'm going to work in Faido/Bodi for a few months .

Cheers

Hello Brucki,

I ask two things:

at what temperature you keep your bleheri? I thought 22 and 18 in summer and winter .. what do you think?

Second thing: the fish have the white marks, you enclose the photo, do you think is a disease or something related to territorial fights?

Hi Luca,

looks like missing scales from a little fighting. Should close in short time.

In WInter my tanks fro subtropical Channa have 15°C

HI Luca,

the tanks are unheated, and I dont heat the room very much (room temp 13 to 15°C) in winter. When the weather gets warmer, the tanks become warmer. But my appartment is in the basement/cellar, so its pretty easy to keep the room and tanks cool. The tank that gets up to 25 °C ist the one one the right side, that onbe at top of the rack.

SPECTACULAR!

Very nice, one question ...

how many liters you keep your bleheri? and other tanks are how many liters?

verrrry nice :D

Hi,

the bleheri are in a 80*35*40 tank, there are three of this size in the sleeping room (not visible) but they are in a rack like that one on the right side. The three tanks on the pic are 80*40*40 (all measures in cm), the big in the front is 1,60*50*50. Its just nwe setup with playsand, thas why the water is so blurry. Through the door you can see the sleeping room, with two 85*85*60 tanks, and two 85*50*50 tanks.

Cheers

Too bad they're such mean fish. They're so pretty.
i've found bleheris to be very docile actually, very rarely do i see the any flaring or bickering amongst them and even when they do, it ends pretty quickly.
