IDK but from pbass keeping I would venture to say the usual around 1" a month like most species. As far as what else to get it's all up to you. Good idea to go with cats like p. niger. Won't have to worry about those eating your bass.

yup...cuz all the catfishes i have are big mouths...lol and i wanted a quiet community with a big catfish but one that won't eat any of my fishes...:D and well as for other pbass species...i may just stick with my orinos...and get the P. Niger Catfish...still trying to see if i can find a black arowana

you should PM dookie bro...thats the guy i got mines from...he should have a few left. But their $15 each from him but his are top quality so its a good price...plus yu don't see much Cichla Sp. Orinocensis around in the Bay much. His name is Dave oh and he doesn't ship so its a local pickup
 
i'll be getting a group of clown loaches of 6 to be the clean up...and a P. Niger Catfish when i sell my monster catfishes lol i want small mouth monster cats not big mouths anymore...it was a commitment to house them in a 10'x6'x4' but that dream isn't happening for now...when i get my own home i will continue off on my dream...TO GO MONSTER!!!
