Actually I haven't fed them fresh veggies for a month or two. Once I saw them eating pellets/wafers/etc I've been feeding mostly those out of convenience. The L-14 was the one that went after the zuchini before though.

edit: Yeah I'd say the L-14 has definately grown the most/quickest. But the more I sneak peaks at the L-114 I'm starting to think its growing pretty quick too. It's just harder to tell because it never comes out in the open like the L-14.

I actually just moved my smallest leopardus last night. It really seems to have been growing quite quick(for a pleco) after I got it past the 2.5" mark. I think it took just as long to grow from 2" to 2.5" as it did to grow from 2.5" to 4". Yours does look to be putting on some size since you got it.

Had a nice little surprise tonight

I picked up some zuchini at the store today for the first time in at least 4-6 weeks. Cut up a few slices, stuffed 'em with Ken's Earthworm Sticks, attached to a fork, and put it near the pleco feeding grounds.

I checked on the tank 10 minutes later and I see the L-264 chowing down on one of the slices!! FIRST time it has made itself visibile while lights are on (purchased 4/1/09). Hell, even with lights off it darts from cover to cover.

I would be attaching a youtube video right now but youtube seems to be undergoing some sort of maintenance/technical issues. So, stay tuned!

Makes you feel like a proud parents when your babies eat, doesn't it??

Mine get fresh veggies 3 nights a week. I get 5 or 6 big quarters of cucumber or whatever all laid out in their tank, shut off the room lights and leave their colored tank lights on and start cheering them on lol One of the most peaceful times of my day is sitting in the dark in front of that Plec tank every night before bed and watching them.
