Yea...I have mine on some drift wood...its just starting to kind of "dome" I guess over the black thread that is holding it down...cool plant when done right.

I agree, Riccia is really cool. I love how it's super bright green. The only down part about the Riccia growing out it my Barilius. Those bastards swim right into it like it has some type of food and knocks a bunch or Riccia out. Dang Barilius, thinking about getting rid of them. Replace them with either shoal of 50 Rummy noses or 60+ Rasbora's (Slender wedges).
My fish dont bother it...it just has a little algae problem cause I tied it down pretty thick on the drift wood and now we are going through the dieoff...some is growing up, and some has gotten detached, so I should have plenty of it on the surface to gather and try to carpet other things with!

I know, I've got so much of this stuff floating off I was thinking about doing the same thing. Gathering and tying down again.
