I have to say, I am not a fan of the Megaflow overflow kits (particularly the Durso drain portion) made by Aqueon (AGA). I had one on my 90 g salt and it was NOISY! Never could find a way to quiet it down...just learned to live with it.

Hmm, I don't find this one to be too bad, but I don't have much to compare it too. There is the waterfall sound, but I've read that this can be fixed by putting bio media in the overflow. That is my plan, not so much because the sound bothers me, but for the benefit of added bio media.

I find the sump to be very quiet. Once I complete everything, I will have to shoot some video with sound to see how it does.

Wow, such cool tanks. Looking at threads like this reminds me how little I have! :(

I'm very fortunate. I've also spent all of my disposable and some of my nondisposable on fish and tanks in the last year.

Hey Ed, might of have missed it, but whats going in the 210?

Right now it's housing the cats. Once the pond is complete, the cats will move out and I'll get some more rays.

Hopefully it'll be a juvi ray tank...hopefully. Not sure what I'm going to put in the top. The dats would look nice in there, but I don't want to move them.

Anyone got any suggestions for top/mid level fish that won't mess with rays?

another aro or dorado shoal would be sickkk...

hmm dorado shoal, never considered that. That could be fun. Now to find them...

Great tanks. I would love rays, but dont see having the room for the footprint needed for full grown rays

so it looks like the marimo balls might be helping. I should also note that I have 5-10ppm of nitrates out of the tap.[/QUOTE]

do you have grow lights in your sump? water wisteria and stratiegeic algea growth will help keep the nitrates down
