my 45g Erythrinus Erythrinus tank

well, here it is, not much, just him by himself, already snapped some guppies and some earthworms I took from my backyard. I've never expected that he would eat that soon since I bought him 2 days ago.

I was thinking to have some hiding places for him, but what worries me that he will become skitties and hide all the time. These days he always come by the front glass even when people passing by the tank, and often acting like begging for food; very active too. This one enjoys earthworm more than feeder fish.
Getting a wolf fish in my area is very difficult, thus the Erythrinus Erythrinus is at most I could get, thought still took me quite sometimes to order it from the lfs.

I say stick to an open tank... if hes showing personality, keep it up... my guy was playing "hide n seek" 24/7 :( (so he had to go)

thanks, I intend to, hopefully this one gets big soon, as I boost feeding him
 
Please document his growth. I would love know how fast they can reach full size for this mini brick of a wolf.
 
a lower water level might be better
