My 47hour drive pick up

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Wow, those Dats are amazing! Totally worth the drive.

The biggest girl is aprox 8-9 years old and the smaller 2 were bought at 4" about 4 years ago.

Thank you funwow for the inspiration and tips. I flew from san fran to seattle to pick up two WB last weekend. The total trip was about 38 hrs. I drove from seattle back down to SF in 16 hrs. I think using a powerhead with air tube is better than using air pump on the trip.

Hey the bottom line when it comes to getting the fish you want is if its up for grabs and no one can ship and you really want it you better find the time no matter what to get it even if you have to drive who knows how many hours just to get it. As for the powerhead as long as the fish make it back alive and into the tank i dont think it really matters:D This was my 3rd long distance road trip i went on for datnoids cause where im at theres not alot of people that keep them. I also think the more time and work it takes you to get a fish you want, when you do get it the more you'll want to keep it. I can tell you this if you ever see my dats for sale its cause i'm dying...But hey im glad my post gave you some inspiration another true datnoid addict is Born:headbang2Make a thread and post some pics of your dats bro....cant wait to see them.

At the moment im running 2 Fluval fx5s, aquar clear 110, and 2 airstones going. No carbon in the fx5 thats where the 110 comes in. If i need carbon i only put in there but most of the time i dont have to use it.
