I also feed the cooked peeled shrimp that I have been feeding to all my fish for over 20 years I have had no problems and for about 10 years it was the only thing I fed

You seam to be panicking after 1 week which is no time at all it can take 4-6 weeks
I also noticed that you said you starved the fish before trying pellets that's not the way to do it you need to stop feeding what the fish will eat but still offer pellets daily
You can learn a lot by using the search tab at the top of the board which will direct you to lots of threads about pellet training and they will have far more info than the 2-3 pages of any new thread you start
i have 3 indos that are on pellets, 5" and a ntt thats 6". took the ntt one month to get on pellets. it was skinny.. now eats massivore like candy lol.. you just have to be patience
Live brne shrimp? where do U get that from? Anyways the starvation is still the most effective. Normally a fish's selfishness is overtaken by hunger over time. patience my friend. My red wolf fish wouldn't eat for 2 weeks until reciently.
i been feeding mine feeder fish every other day ( not good),, its been 3 weeks already.. sometimes it stars at the food n then loses interest.. as a result, other fishes eats.. i hav a jardini n flagtail as tankmates
