My 55 Gallon Tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't quite understand why you left a goby in there with a shoal of teeth!! Was it not kind of obvious that they would inflict damage?? Be kind and get him out of there now. You even say he doesn't come out because he is scared.... I class it as cruelty if a fish is not able to live without fear. Basically he is going to stop eating and starve to death. Take him out.

ya i love going on youtube and seeing people with a ton of redbelly piranhas eat something!!!! one time this one guy was very stupid and put a baby ray in a tank with easily over 60 little baby rbp's..... sadly the ray had no chance........ RIP

I'm thinking this should end up being moved to the P forum.

Rhom RBP mix isn't going to be pretty. how long will they co-hab IDK it's hard to tell. they "should" be ok till the rhom starts outgrowing the RBPs. that is unless you mess up on the feeding and the RBPs exploit the cycloptic rhom and he's a gonner. I think yo should move the rhom to another tank if you have one or just sell him off now. eithr way the others are right either the rhoms goingto hae to leave or the RBPs. but one of those two things ARE going to happen.

P.S. whats your next tank? how many gallons?

eh rhoms grow incredibly slow, the reds will def outgrow him and eat him....

can you post more pics and individual pics of him ?

Ditch the bamboo, get some nice drift wood instead.
Like stated already get rid of the rhom, either sell or re-home him its just asking for trouble to keep him with the rbs especially since he's at a disadvantage already with only one eye. Also re-home or sell the goby, living in fear under a pile of rocks its no good and if he comes out he's a goner.
How did the O's die in a territory battle? I've seen O's go through hell and bounce back but have never herd of two both dying in a territory battle.

Angel51087, that's an interesting signature you have. I wonder where that quote came from, oh yeah, I remember.......

...maybe you could answer this question: how about a moose, a crocodile, a black bear, a hippo, a pit bull, a poodle, and a small wolverine - can I put them in my bedroom? Just for a while?

Sorry about the total sarcastic tone, but why is it that every post entitled "Is it ok" turns out not to be ok?
